This is the perfect tour for a city escape. In a small group or private if you prefer, the tempo is slow and relaxing, meaning that we have plenty of time to relax and enjoy the landscape and scenery. And to take in the fresh countryside air!
HIGHLIGHTS:
During the tour you will visit a flower producer, handicraft shop, taste local delicacies, enjoy traditional Swedish lunch, visit Icelandic horses, sheep, cows and poultry. We end the tour with coffee and tasty “Swedish fika”.
The country area is called “Runriket” which mean the “Runic Kingdom”. The area with the most rune stones in the entire world!
This area played an important part for trade with water ways and settlements thousands of years ago from Bronze age till today. Many ancient remains are to be seen around this countryside and during lunch we will have a look at one of the most spectacular rune stones there is, SwedenÂŽs largest rune stone.
