The Bloody Östermalm Walk – The Dark History of an Upper Class Area

Welcome to a darker city walk taking you back in time. We’ll explore the today upper class area Östermalms dark and haunted past. Expect bloody murders, horrific witches and the folklore of blood and bones.

Explore a time travel back to when this was the outskirts of the city, when the military owned this part and soldier prostitution was in demand. Another stop back in time will be to when the WWII Superpowers spies meet at shady ale halls and taverns in the area.

Exiting spies stories will be mixed with stories of death, the 18th C pestilence outbreak, Stockholms Witch trials, public executions and famous thieves and other haunted stories of the past.
Central meeting place just next to Kungsträdgården on Norrmalmstorg, outside the place where the famous “Stockholm syndrome” condition was coined.
