Here we present our slow tours whom are echo-friendly tours focusing on local transport, the beauty of the Swedish nature visiting nature reserves as well as our pilgrimage tours and bike tours. More tours are to come.

1. Pilgrimage tours
Half day Swedish pilgrimage tour out of Stockholm 5h
Walk with a certified Swedish pilgrimage tour leader on this slow tour out into the Swedish countryside visiting Swedish nature, Viking runestones, and locally made food on this half day tour out of Stockholm.
We start in Stockholm city, take the local subway and railway-line out to northern Stockholm to walk and hike along the pilgrimage walking routes in Vallentuna region. On this trip you will enjoy Swedish nature, a chance to walk in silence or talk about things with short stops and reflections will be done during this tour. Start and stop by the local railway line will be made. Good hiking boots preferred, both forest paths and asphalt will be walked upon. Easy trail and quite flat to walk on.
Price per person for this half day excursion: 1350sek per person. Minimum 3 persons to run.

2. Nature hiking tours – experience the hiking trials of Sweden
Explore our hiking day tours out of Stockholm city, or leaving out of places easy to get by with public transport.
These tours come with a dedicated tour leader, full of wanderlust and good knowledge of Swedish nature and the Swedish folklore to spice things up a bit now and than with a tale or two of the Wood wife and other mystical creatures.
These tours go on forest paths, in nature reserves as well as on several of the hiking trails around Stockholm: explore both the Stockholm Archipelago trail, Kungsleden and Upplandsleden with us.

Vallentuna lakeside hiking tour 5h – 20km hiking.
Hike 20km along suburbs into the Swedish nature following the lakeside of lake Vallentuna. This day tour start from Vallentuna train station focusing in the Swedish nature, the beauty of the water, and the areas rich Viking history. This tour will also pass by a local beaver nest.
Hiking length: 20km.
Type of ground: Elevations will occur. Forest paths and asphalt will be underfoot.

Roslagsleden etapp 2  day tour – guided hiking tour with Swedish folklore 5h
This tour focus on one of Stockholm’s nearby nature hiking trails: Roslagsleden, starting at the bus stop of “Ymervägen (Vallentuna)”.
After you meet the guide we walk through meadows and beautiful pine forest, heavy with moss and silence and walk through some of the green wedges of Stockholm. This tour focus on, apart from the hike itself going on dirt and forests paths, on stories from the Swedish folklore and the beauty of the city-near nature.
Hiking distance: 30km.
Terrain: uneven surfaces, forest and gravel roads.

The best of Stockholm Archipelago trail – 7h hiking day tour
A hiking tour around the northernmost part of the Stockholm Archipelago trail along rugged coastlines. Experience the wilder parts of Swedish coastal nature with a local, experienced tour guide. This hiking day tour include together with a  walk alongside the beautiful 18th handdug Väddö chanal. We organize the car or bus ride ride here from Stockholm whom sadly is necessary due to it’s location in the landscape.
Multiday tour possible: This hike, as well as the Roslagsleden hike, can be combined to several days. For this we are working with locals for smaller overnight cabins or overnight hammocks sleeping out in nature with breakfast, and two more hiking days along the walking paths with your guide.

Stockholm suburb and nature biking tour – Biking with a Viking 5h tour.
On this day tour you will bike in beautiful nature, do a short forest walk and experience both beautiful nature, Stockholm suburbs with tales of Swedish lifestyle and expert guided Viking remains while being active and fee alive. This tour start in Stockholm city, bike out to beautiful nature areas and take the local railway line back into Stockholm if you don’t want to bike back.
We stop by 5 different Viking stops and medieval churches in stone over 800 years old on this tour.
Bike length – 35km, and local railway line back. 50km if biking back into Stockholm

Angarnsjöängen runt – Swedish prehistory bike day tour with asphalt and dirt roads 5h
Explore some dirt roads near Stockholm, a walk inside a beautiful bird nature reserve and some historical stops on this biking day tour out of Stockholm. The tour is lead by a local history nerd and professional tour guide.
We start in Stockholm city, bike along the railway line with a Swedish fika stop at a local countryside shop. Than await some Viking age rune stones, and goes over into a old 1000 years old dirt road with an iron age hill fort climb, some bronze age cains and cup markings as well as an literary inside stop of a mighty hollow old oak.
The tour than goes over to visit a previking Vendel era grave field once part of a major lake, hear the tale of a mistress of the king who killed the kings tax collectors at the church before turning back to civilization ending at a bus stop where you can take the local busline back along the highway back into Stockholm city again.
Biking length – 50-60km.

Stockholm countryside biking tour with Fika – Explore a world heritage candidate area 4h.
Bike in a former world heritage candidate area who never came to be due to land ownership issues but was listen by Sweden between 1990-2013. Explore the two parishes of Markim Orkesta and explore why this beautiful and rich historical landscape was nominated with a knowledgeable local and professional history guide.
On this tour we bike from a local railway line station, visiting historical places and eat at a local farm with locally sourced food out in the nature during your day. Visit medieval churches, and marvel over historical remains from the Swedish Bronze age 2700 year ago. Medieval churches and Viking rune stones. Take the local railway line at the end back into Stockholm.
This biking tour start at Lindholmen railway station, also ending at the same station.
Length: 30-40km. Price per person: 1600 sek per person.
